EnterFAX is an
Enterprise-wide Centralized Fax Messaging System catering to the
health care industry. Despite being oriented to the handling of document
transmissions in health care facilities, EnterFAX may be put to
same advantage in any firm where formal document transmissions
supporting critical processes such as payments, sensitive data
disclosing, etc. are an important component of the business model.

TRANSMISSION OF FAXES
EnterFAX is network based and will gather faxes
in a digitized paperless fashion from the multitude of user's desktop
machines disseminated across the enterprise toward relaying them to the
same dedicated fax line(s) channel. Likewise users may send faxes directly from
anyone of their desktop applications by annexing the destination fax
number to the document. They may also scan a paper document into their
desktop machine and fax. EnterFAX gathers the document and puts it
in digitized facsimile format prior to executing the send to the remote
fax number.
RECEPTION OF FAXES
On the receiving end, EnterFAX
receives and gathers all incoming faxes to the enterprise on the
dedicated fax lines and automatically digitizes them in computer file format
so they may be incorporated to the main enterprise database application
such as to patients records in a health care management software system.
EnterFAX therefore seamlessly integrates fax to enterprise-grade
server-ladden Database systems like few other fax products will.
COMPLIANCE TO SECURITY
REQUIREMENTS
By essentially using the PSTN
(Public Switched Telephone Network) as the base vehicle for messaging
exchanges instead of the public inter-network, at times rather
vulnerable, and like eFax does, EnterFAX specifically
helps all Health Care facilities meet the stringent security and
securitization requirements mandated by the Federal and State
governments for such exchanges. Effectively State and Federal
governments are required to enforce the protection of confidential
private patient record information the law provides to everyone, from
the layman to the most prominent figures in the society at large.
Useless to say that EnterFAX provides this level of security to
Government itself. eFax technology simply does not meet those
standards.
CENTRALIZED MANAGEMENT OF
FAX MESSAGING
EnterFAX rationalizes the
utilization of fax throughout the enterprise by centralizing it and
making it a controlled and managed process while dramatically cutting
down the cost of fax transmissions across the enterprise. Because
EnterFAX is network based on the transmission end, even offices that are remotely located to the
head office may perfectly access and utilize the system. These remote
desktops will be treated under the same conditions as the head office
desktops, except that the security component may somewhat weaken if the
remote desktops are linked via internet instead of intranet.
